Oster CKSTWFBF10 Belgian Flip Waffle Maker, Black

Product Review

Got this for my husband for Christmas. He likes the waffles inside the hotels continental breakfast when we travel. I'm not a large waffle fan. That stated, we followed the instructions (extremely clear) seasoning it with vegetable oil, created some feed-the-birds waffles (as suggested) & ate the last 2. We used the plain waffle directions on the Jiffy Mix for the first batch and they were GREAT! I thought the 'smaller' size of this maker might be a problem but the waffles turned out perfect & plenty large enough. Don't think I'd want them any larger. I'm a convert & can't wait until the next time we make waffles. Highly recommend this product. (More...)

Cuisinart WAF-100 4-Slice Belgian Waffle Maker

Product Review

I was skeptical about buying this waffle maker from other evaluations on the web but I am glad I did. This is the very best waffle maker!! I employed a box of Krusteaz waffle mix and followed the directions on the box, set the waffle maker on 3, sprayed some PAM on the waffle maker, pour 1/2 cup of waffle batter in each and every slot and when it beeped I opened to discover a huge Belgian waffle slices cooked to perfection! There was no issue with spill overs, the color was a nice golden brown and it was fluffy, had a good crisp but nonetheless soft, topped with fresh strawberries, syrup and whipped cream and we've got the most effective Belgian waffles appropriate at home! It came proper off the machine with no sticking or mess along with the clean up was absolutely nothing as I only had to wipe it down having a paper towel after it cooled down. I absolutely enjoy this waffle maker and would advocate to anybody. The unit did not get too hot to handle along with the handle stayed good and cool. It was so fun cooking up the waffles that prior to I knew it I went by means of a whole box! The wonderful thing is it is possible to make these ahead, freeze them and whenever you want a waffle just heat up in a toaster. No far more frozen Eggo Waffles for me as I now have fresh homemade waffles appropriate at my fingers anytime I feel like it. And also the income I'm saving since Eggo Waffles can get fairly pricey! Oster 3883 Belgian Wafflemaker, Chrome

Product Review

We make a big breakfast every Sunday which consists of waffles. We use two waffle irons: the Village Ware Mickey Mouse Waffle Iron and this 1. The Mickey Mouse one, by far, makes the much better waffles, however, these usually go to the kids and my husband and I have ones from the Oster. The Oster waffle iron does not cook the waffles evenly. The leading center doesn't cook as quick as the rest of the unit. We've tried more/less batter, thicker/runnier batter, and adjusting the temperature and absolutely nothing assists. I normally "flip" the waffle over and cook it for yet another 30 seconds to brown the side that did not cook evenly. Even so, it's not "bad" sufficient to warrent getting yet another one. That is why I could only give it an "average" three star rating. (Review More...)

Cuisinart WMR-CA Round Classic Waffle Maker

Product Review

I'm so surprised by the negative reviews of this product. We've had this waffler for a year now and have utilized it A good deal. I'd estimate 75 times- generally as soon as or twice a week. We've by no means had a problem with sticking as well as the waffler is going strong. The waffles turn out excellent, each and every time. 1 factor to consider, waffles demand you to use oil in the batter. It is what gives them the good crispy golden brown outside, and I imagine it helps using the sticking too. Now, I've by no means encountered a waffle recipe that does not call for oil, but it makes me wonder if those that have problem with sticking are just utilizing pancake batter??? We tried other wafflers with our regular batter recipe and the outcomes had been awful- heavy and dense. This waffler makes a good light waffle. The selector truly works to obtain the desired done-ness, it is an excellent feature and we've discovered the outcomes to be quite dependable. (Read More...)

CucinaPro 220-05P Pizzelle Baker

Product Review

Lastly got to use my new Pizzelle iron last night and despite the fact that I'm not overly impressed, it did the job I bought it to do. I had to buy this to replace one I've had for years, I had a Beraducci Bros, and given that these are no longer created, I had to search for a new brand. Right after reading other people evaluations I settled on the CucinaPro. The pizzelles tasted great, I used my Grandmother's recipe and not the 1 included using the iron. A couple of things - 1. It doesn't have an indicator light, this was somewhat disappointing, looking in the photos, I thought it would, the light is only to let you know the iron is hot sufficient, not a timer when producing the pizzelles. two. Timing was incocnsistent, the iron would continually go from light on to light off, I expected this some but not as usually as it occurred. Took a while to obtain the rythym and to get them to come out the same each time. (More...)

Better Chef Waffle Maker IM-260W

Product Review

I bought this from target for $10. The nonstick surface, at least in the short term, is very non-stick. I was able to wipe it clean with no problems. The heating, at least on my unit, is inadequate and uneven. The instructions state it will take 3-6 minutes to cook a waffle, but it takes mine much longer. I found that to fully cook a waffle takes 11 minutes. This is with your stock-standard biquik waffle mix. Additionally, though both sides are heating, the bottom of the waffles cooks faster than the top so I have to turn them over at the 6 minute mark. (More Detail...)

Cuisinart WMB-2 2-Slice Belgian Waffle Maker

Product Review

Cuisinart has created a little Belgian waffler that's compact, speedy and makes a darned great waffle. The lights inticating when the iron is prepared for the batter, when the waffle is accomplished, along with the choice of 6 heat settings are functions that convinced me to buy this iron. Most of the irons I looked at did not have an indicator light saying when the waffle was completed. ... no drip tray around the iron...accurate. BUT, in case you know how to measure out the batter, and you make good batter, this really is NOT a difficulty simply because your will not have spills. Cooks Illustrated has a superb write-up on how you can make a good waffle batter...waffle batter should be thick. And you might have to use either a measureing cup or a big ladle in order to distribute the correct amount of batter inside the appropriate areas on the griddle. (I advise that you simply consult Cooks Illustrated On the web for these guidelines.) Following I learned that, the rest was a cinch! The waffles turn out consistently great and cleanup is practically zero. Contrary to some evaluations I read, I've but to determine any sticking at all and I have not employed spray oil on it. Given the correct batter, this iron will do what you would like it to do with ease. Whenever you are finished making use of it, you'll be able to wind up the cord and set it on it finish for simple storage. One word of caution, and the only reason I didn't give it a five star rating...the chrome outside gets Really hot...keep in mind this really is an IRON. Permit it to cool entirely prior to attempting to put it away. (Review More...)
